At Elm Tree Orthodontics in Hamden & North Haven, CT, we believe that your first orthodontic visit is your most important one. Our friendly and experienced team will make you feel at home during your visit, and leave no question unanswered or detail forgotten.
You’ll be welcomed by our team, introduced to our orthodontist Dr. Desai and shown around our office. Our highly-trained, orthodontic treatment coordinator will then take some digital photographs of your teeth. If necessary, a panoramic and cephalometric X-ray. These images are the best way for us to see your teeth, jaws, and facial soft tissue.
We offer many different treatment options, and we'll find the one that best fits your needs. During your first visit, Dr. Desai will determine the best way to achieve your smile goals.
After reviewing your records, Dr. Desai will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan. Dr. Desai will point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.
Dr. Desai will take as much time as needed to answer your questions and decide what kind of treatment is best for you. Dr. Desai and his assistant will then walk you through the treatment process. Your Elm Tree Orthodontics team will explain everything from scheduling to expected discomfort levels, to finances and payment options.
